ABOUT AIRLIE

Airlie was founded by Hayley Plane in 2018. She developed Airlie for four reasons:

  • Enable easy access to a modern, information-based format of medicine for easy accessibility

  • A health system that is backed by integral research that is made accessible to clients

  • Provide information that enables people to take responsibility for their own health rather than creating health professional dependency

  • Provide an individualized and realistic written treatment plan for individuals to refer to because some appointments can be very information dense

Natural medicine is constantly evolving, at Airlie we want to provide a health service that treats the root cause of disease and restores the physiology back into balance. This is achieved by providing great emphasis on education and provide the tools the body needs to create a healing environment.

We respect that people are on their own health journey, we will only recommend testing as a means of gaining further information and recommend supplements that are appropriate. We are a vendor relationship free enterprise – meaning we don’t have any commercial agreements with supplement suppliers, we only provide supplements that are appropriate for you, if any at all and also provide alternate recommendations.

We don’t believe in a quick fix – we believe it is the small things you do every day that counts towards long term and sustained wellbeing, and most importantly, balance and being able to enjoy one’s life. Our treatment plans will incorporate this and provide information that is based on scientific research and not health trends.

We also happily share where all of our information comes from and compose it in a way that is easy to follow and read.

Why is it called "Airlie" natural medicine you ask?

Hayley named the business after the family dairy farm in the Goulburn valley that was closed during the drought in 2009.

WHO WE ARE

Hayley is a practicing naturopath and nurse and believes in the importance of food as medicine and enjoys helping people integrate nutritional and herbal medicine to supply the body with the building blocks to maintain balance and prevention from chronic and acute conditions.

After overcoming a vicious cycle of hormonal imbalance, food intolerance and fatigue, Hayley found that food quality, lifestyle and stress was connected with her physical and mental wellbeing. After the frustration of not getting results she gave away everything and moved to the city to begin her health journey by studying naturopathy at Endeavor College of Natural Health. Endeavour college in Brisbane is where Hayley met her partner Jonathan.

Hayley is a clinically trained naturopath situated in the Strathbodgie shire region in country Victoria and holds a bachelor of health science degree and registered with Australian Natural Therapies Association (ANTA).
